Victoria Gold Corp.

Cove

Cove is Victoria’s most advanced gold exploration project and is located on a 6,982-hectare (17, 252 acre) property which is leased from Newmont.

Victoria’s exploration team has identified 14 drill-ready target areas on the property. The Phase II drilling program, which commenced in October 2007, has successfully identified an exciting new gold bearing zone, named the Helen Zone.

The Helen Zone is located 610 metres (2 000 feet) northwest of the previously mined Cove open pit and an old underground mining area. These were mined between 1987 and 2001, producing 2.3 million ounces of gold and 100 million ounces of silver.

The McCoy pit is 2,042 metres (6,700 feet) from the Helen Zone and produced 0.88 million ounces of gold and 3 million ounces of silver between 1986 and 2001.
