Victoria Gold Corp.

Relief canyon

The Relief Canyon property is over 3,000 hectares in size and is located in North-Central Nevada approximately 27 km east of Lovelock. In addition to the land leased from Newmont, Victoria has also staked about 4,000 hectares of unpatented mining claims in the vicinity.

The combined property surrounds and hosts portions of the previously mined Relief Canyon open pit mine which produced 430,000 ounces of gold from an average grade of 1.27 g/t between 1985 and 1989.

Victoria has a minerals lease and sub-lease agreement with Newmont for the Relief Canyon property in terms of which the Company is earning up to a 100% interest the property by completing annual work commitments. Newmont retains a back-in right, which should it be exercised, the property would revert to a 51% Newmont/49% Victoria joint venture with Newmont as the operator.
